This Privacy Policy explains how Devtine (Pvt) Ltd collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Caro Fleet Intelligence mobile application, part of the Caro Fleet platform used by fleet companies to verify fuel and vehicle service records. The App is used exclusively by drivers whose employer or contracting company has enrolled them on the Caro Fleet platform — it is not available for general public download or use outside of this context.
Our commitment to you
Caro Fleet is built on trust between drivers, their employers, and us. We will never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and only your employer's authorized fleet administrators can see your entries — not other companies on the platform.
1. Information We Collect
Phone Number
Used as your login identifier, provided by your company administrator when your account is created.
PIN
Used to authenticate your login, set by your company administrator. We store this in encrypted (hashed) form and never as plain text.
Location (GPS)
Captured at the moment you log a fuel or service entry, used to verify that the entry took place at a genuine location. Location is only captured during active use of the entry-logging feature, not continuously in the background.
Photos and Video
Captured live through the App's camera when you log a fuel fill-up or service visit (odometer readings, fuel pump video, vehicle/repair photos). The App does not allow uploading photos or videos from your phone's gallery — only live camera capture.
Device Identifier
A technical identifier used to associate your account with your registered device, as a security measure to prevent unauthorized account access.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your contacts, browsing history, precise financial information, or any data unrelated to the fuel/service verification purpose described above.
2. How We Use Your Information
We do not use your information for advertising, and the App does not display ads.
- Verify that fuel and service entries genuinely occurred as claimed, for your employer's fleet management purposes
- Authenticate your login and protect your account from unauthorized access
- Provide your employer's fleet administrators with the records needed to manage their fleet and review entries
3. Who Can See Your Information
- Your employer's fleet administrators can see the entries, photos, video, and location data associated with your account, as part of their fleet management responsibilities
- Devtine (Pvt) Ltd has access to this data as the operator of the platform, solely to provide, maintain, and improve the service
- We do NOT sell your information to third parties
- We do NOT share your information with advertisers or data brokers
- We may share information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Devtine, our clients, or others
4. Data Retention
- Photos, verification results, and record metadata (timestamps, locations, entry details) are retained for as long as your account is active with your employer's fleet, as part of the permanent fraud-evidence record
- Raw video recordings are automatically deleted 90 days after capture. The verification result derived from each video is retained, but the original video file is not kept indefinitely
5. Data Security
- All data is encrypted in transit between the App and our servers (HTTPS/TLS)
- Passwords and PINs are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing (Argon2) and are never stored or transmitted as plain text
- Access to your data is restricted by role — only your own employer's authorized fleet administrators can view your records, not other companies on the platform
6. Your Choices and Rights
Your account is created and managed by your employer's fleet administrator. If you wish to have your account deactivated or your data deleted, please contact your fleet administrator, who can action this on your behalf, or contact us directly using the details below. If your employment ends or you are removed from a fleet, your account access is deactivated and your device is unlinked from the account.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by adult drivers employed or contracted by companies using the Caro Fleet platform. It is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
